There is value to growing my meditative muscle, for lack of a better phrasing. We do not know what we do not know. Science is built upon the fact that some of what we know is wrong.
I am not kidding myself that my practice is anything more than juvenile. I am sure there are greater insights escaping me, even thought the ones I grasp loosely produce tremendous benefit to my understanding and peace.
An example would be a guy like Tesla. The expanse of concepts he digested, most of which were unseen as they were developing, is breathtaking.
I do not know his perspective on God, or meditation, or much else. I could look those up. It just seems the full answer must involve more than an aptitude for science, and any combination of attitudes alone. Just gauging better for myself the universe of what is possible.
